Description of Artist and Work: I am an avid knitter, and specialise in Icelandic 'lopapeysa', the yoke sweaters that are associated with Icelandic knitwear. I mostly use Icelandic wool (called 'lopi') whenever possible to create beautiful colour combinations, although I use other yarns as well, depending on customers' requirements. I also make smaller items: mittens, socks and hats etc.
