Description of Artist and Work: I create functional ceramics thrown on a table top wheel in my kitchen, which means pottery often takes precedence over cooking dinner! Working with flecked and toasted stoneware clay, I look to contrast their ruggedness with a variety of glazes. A big lover of cliff top walks and wild swims, the beautiful greens, blues and greys that I’m surrounded by during these outings have a strong influence on my work.
