I began working with glass many years ago after taking time out from a career in social work and attending Queen’s Road School of Art and Design in Bristol, where I learned to make leaded glass panels. Over the years I replaced the lead with copper foil and focused on producing smaller, lightweight and easily portable items that I could sell at craft fairs, markets, festivals and to shops. I now work solely using the copper foil method making small stained, painted and fused glass gift items including mobiles and hangings, flowers, fish, rainbows, hot air balloons, butterflies, mirrors, candle bowls, pendants, bracelets, earrings and more. My work is characterised by bright rainbow colours and much of the painted glass is intricately patterned. I try to work sustainably, sourcing materials locally, and to keep my prices as affordable as possible.

Currently, my work can be found for sale at Clevedon Craft Centre (Studio 3), Clevedon, BS21 6TD; at Home Grown gift shop, Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bedminster, BS3 4EA; on Etsy (Anna Findlay’s Mostly Glass Shop) and a selection of items (not including jewellery) at East Street Emporium, 127 East Street, Bristol, BS3 4ER.
