Scott Luís Masson is a freelance illustrator and artist who started out in illustration back in 2015 and began branching out to include oil painting in his repertoire of both commissions and personal work in 2020. His illustration work uses ink in a loose figurative style often with digital colour and texture applied, and is easily translated into large-scale mixed media pieces in paints & sprays such as at Bristol’s Upfest festival 2022. As an oil painter he will often be inspired by emotive skies and landscapes, the man-made versus the natural world, and the narratives that figures within these environments can evoke. He’s a fan of dip pens, brushes and palette knives.
