I enjoy using  many different techniques in printmaking, depending on what seems to fit the the subject chosen- linocut, woodcut, wood engraving, collagraph and etching ,sometimes combining two or three methods. While  the prints are hand made individually as limited editions, I also have some reproductions, cards and other items such as notebooks, keyrings and mugs based on my designs. My inspiration comes from my love of the outdoors, coastal and inland ; and also the wildlife contained within  it ,as well as making use of  domestic animals as subjects for artwork.When on holiday or at my allotment I take photos and make sketches and later on turn these into prints.

I have been a member of Spike Print Studio at Cumberland Road for many years and take part in the exhibitions they and other artist groups  in Bath and Bristol organise.
