Steven John Owen is a self-taught abstract painter born and based in Bristol, UK. His work explores colour, geometry and texture through carefully balanced compositions.

Working with custom made oil pastels created by melting and blending colours to suit his own palette, he builds layered surfaces that emphasise rhythm, material and subtle variation.
