After a career in interior design, I am concentrating on design at a smaller scale – making jewellery from earthenware clay. The patterns and colours I love I now hand paint onto earrings, beads, and pendants.  I am inspired by bold, geometric patterns used by the Africans to decorate their shields and pottery
