What are the dates for the 2026 Trail?

The dates for this year’s Trail are Saturday 14th (11am – 6pm) and Sunday 15th November (11am – 5pm) 2026

The Totterdown Arts Trail is a community arts event where local artists open their homes, studios and various venues to the public, showcasing their artwork in intimate front room settings and community venues across the Totterdown area. It’s a unique opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of art and meet the artists in person.

How can I find participating venues?

Maps of the trail are available on the map section of our website – both a ‘live’ version where you need to zoom in to find specific venues, and a .pdf version showing all locations. Maps are also in the trail booklets which are available from community venues and businesses across Totterdown.

Is there an admission fee?

No, the Totterdown Arts Trail is free to attend! We want to make art accessible to all. However, donations to support the event are always appreciated. We also have a number of free workshops taking place across the two days. Check our workshop page for more details!

Can I purchase artwork at the event?

Yes! The majority of artists will have artwork for sale. You can buy directly from the artists who can arrange payment with you. It’s a great opportunity to get some of the Christmas shopping list ticked off early! Most artists have card machines.

Are the venues accessible to all?

We strive for accessibility, but some venues are private homes, which may have stairs or other limitations; other venues are old historic buildings that may have their own peculiarities- it all adds to the charm of the area but please be mindful of your own safety when navigating unfamiliar spaces. Totterdown is renowned for it’s steep hills, some come prepared with sensible walking shoes.

Will there be food and drinks available on the trail?

We have a great selection of participating food venues and pop ups across the trail. Please check our Food & Drink pages for further details. Some home venues may offer food too. Local cafes and restaurants often participate with special menus for the event to keep you going over the two days of art exploration! Keep an eye on social media!

Can I bring children or pets?

Children are welcome and this year the trail offers some great family activities. Check out our workshops and the Totterdown Children’s Community Venue for some fun stops! Generally it’s best to leave pets at home for the arts trail.

Does more than one artist exhibit at an address?

Yes! Many venues have multiple artists at one venue. Check the trail booklet for details of which artists are exhibiting at each venue. Please show your support across as many venues as possible. Our artists work hard all year to bring you some great collections of their work.

I can’t get into my account – can you help?

A lot of work went into our shiny new website in 2023. This meant that we reset the old database, so everyone had to register a new account.

If you are trying to log into an old account, it will no longer be there, so please register again.

If you’ve forgotten your password, we can reset it for you, please send us an email so that we can send you your new password. Most years, for ease the participating artists section is cleared down in one go, so you may have to re-create a new account for each year-so have those bio’s!
