Frequently Asked Questions

Have you got a question? We want to spend as much time organising fun events, creating exciting displays and coming up with creative ideas. So before you get in touch to ask a question, take a look to see if your question is here.

We will be updating this list as questions come in, so check back if you come up with another question later!

What are the dates for the 2024 Trail?

The dates for this year’s Trail are Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2024. Please check back from June’24 onwards for details on how to sign up.

Will there be community venues?

Yes, but these are not confirmed yet. If you have space to host another artist, please get in touch as soon as you can

How can I get a community venue?

For 2024, the venues will be arranging their own artists, so please get in contact directly with any you have any previous involvement with. Please check back over the summer if you have not already liaised directly with a community venue and would need a space to display in. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we will be able to allocate any spaces to community venues, but there may be some homes looking to host artists.

I live on _ Road, can I be a part of the trail?

If your street isn’t normally a part of the trail, and you’re wondering whether you can take part, we especially encourage anyone with a connection to the area (past or present) to participate, but the trail is also open to all artists.

If you live in Totterdown and would like to take part in your own home, we would recommend talking to neighbours to see if they can join in too so that the street gets more footfall. Or perhaps see if any other artist would like to exhibit with you? (In previous and other Bristol trails, we’ve found that venues that are by themselves with only one artist in struggle to get the same footfall as others.)

Can more than one artist exhibit at an address?

Yes! You’re more than welcome to have multiple artists at one venue. Simply ensure that each artist has registered to be a part of the trail – that way, we can promote you and your work better.

If you would like us to allocate an artist to you, please get in touch with us. Every artist will need their own membership and listing so that they appear in the map and online promotion.

I can’t get into my account – can you help?

A lot of work went into our shiny new website in 2023. This meant that we reset the old database, so everyone had to register a new account.

If you are trying to log into an old account, it will no longer be there, so please register again.

If you’ve forgotten your password, we can reset it for you, please send us an email so that we can send you your new password.

I run art workshops, can I participate?

We’d love to hear more, please get in contact with details of your workshops so that we can discuss options with you.
