DazCat is a Bristol born graffiti artist and illustrator. They love to paint quirky animal characters, complimented by nature scenes and cityscapes. They have been decorating the walls of Bristol and beyond for over ten years. Large scale is where they feel most natural, but they are not limited to big walls – they transfer this street energy into original canvas pieces and prints. They especially like to use alternative and up-cycled items for their canvases, like skateboards and street signs.

DazCat has concocted a distinctive style and world of their own for viewers to lose themselves in. It adopts fictional characters unrestricted by anatomical law, traditional graffiti elements, abstracted nature scenes, moody cityscapes and starry spray-paint splattered skies. DazCat has always felt a divide between their love of escaping in nature and bustling city life and explores this contradiction in their artworks.

DazCat invites you to find a moment of escapism in their playful and bold paintings. They paint animals with anthropomorphic qualities so people can feel connected with them and attach their own meaning to them. Enter this alternate world, take a step back and marvel at the absurdity of life.

As well as original paintings, DazCat hand screen prints their own designs on t-shirts and as prints. Recreating Bristol scenes with embellished proportion and busy scenes. With lots of affordable prints to larger originals there’s something for all budgets!

Jewellery handmade from embroidered fabric, silver and brass. Inspired by nature and textiles. Plus a small selection of cards.

I make and sell sustainable items made from discarded and donated materials such as clothing, curtains, upholstery fabrics and yarn. My best selling items are bags (mostly sewn and some crocheted) but I also sew and crochet home decorations such as garlands and accessories such as cardigans, hairbands, scrunchies and keyrings; even the smallest scraps can make something and it all stops the original items from being sent to the landfill.

Handcrafted Christmas decorations – Ruth beautifully sews felt tree decorations, patchwork material wreaths and knits novelty chocolate sweet covers. Margaret hand paints glass and ceramic baubles, pebbles on wood slice decorations and creates eye catching decorations out of vintage crystal glass droplets.

I handcraft mosaic plaques of animals,birds and flowers to hang inside or out using OSB board and glass.

These plaques make ideal presents and I also run workshops for those who want to have a go at making their own
